ARBOR SNOWBOARDS WELCOMES SEAN BLACK TO THE FAMILY!
Venice, CA - November 8, 2010 - Arbor Snowboards is proud to welcome Sean Black to their national snowboard team. “We couldn’t afford the White version so we went out and got ourselves a Sean Black,” says Arbor’s team director, Brad Farmer. “Seriously though, we’re amped on this new partnership. We’ve been looking to build our team presence in the Rockies and having Sean holding it down for Arbor in Salt Lake City is going to be excellent. Sean understands what it takes to be a modern-day professional snowboarder, he has a great personality, a wild sense of humor and he has the urban jib scene on lock. It’ll be fun watching him grow with Arbor over next few years. Did I mention his style? Solid. Welcome to the Arbor family Sean Black!”
“What is going down at Arbor is so much different than other brands,” says Black. “It’s like a big family and everyone is really accessible including the design team. I am looking forward to working with a motivated group of people and having the opportunity to directly impact the direction of a growing brand. I’m planning to film with Think Thank this season which will be...so nice! Everyone involved with that project is a total boss and I'm stoked to get on board...while I’m on my new Arbor board. I can't wait to jump off some big s**t this winter. I'll be based out of Salt Lake City riding Brighton and rolling out to film wherever the storms may take me.”
Arbor Snowboards is announcing five new team riders in five weeks and Sean Black is 2 of 5. He joins Eli Weiner as one of the five.

  ABOUT THE ARBOR COLLECTIVE
Arbor was founded in 1995 on the assertion that solutions to many of today’s most difficult snow, skate, and apparel design challenges exist in the natural world. For 14 years, Arbor has built on the belief of replacing, environmentally harmful materials with ecologically based, natural alternatives. Arbor’s goal is to create a higher level of function and relevance in the most responsible way possible. The end result must be improved style and performance, with significantly reduced impact on the environment. “We all need clean air to skate, clean water to surf, and snow to ride…”
