MDP/Harley Davidson/Milosport Premier

So every year we put on these premiers. Every year we go through the same drama, trying to find a location, trying to advertise it correctly, and trying to make it a success. Well, this year was no different. We premiered the Mack Dawg movies tonight (Picture This and We're People Too) as well as Morning out of Austin.
Well Here is the boss man giving orders, as all boss men do. Well before the premier began we were going crazy, stressing over the event, never knowing if people show up.
We invited the local media and Fox 13 showed up and interviewed Jeremy Jones, Brian Brown (Harley Davidson), and Jeff Perry (Milosport) before the premier began.
I think Harley Davidson was happy with the turnout. As you can see, plenty of kids checking out all the new gear and chatting with the Pros. Did I mention who was there? Jeremy Jones, JP Walker, Seth Huot, Jon Kooley, Bryan Fox, Jordan Mendenhall, JP Tomich and a few others were spotted.
Here you see Jer signing lots of Autographs....
Here is Seth pointing at Jer who is hogging all the autographs.
There were more than just Harley Davidson Bikes to see at the show. All the pros rode their bikes and a bunch of spectators and friends took this chance to show up and show off their motorcycles too. I am a big fan of this green machine, looks pretty custom.
After all the stress, it did go down. We had two showings, the first was 3/4 full, which was good, maybe 250 people, but the 8PM show went off with over 500+ filling the Harley showroom. Kids were hyped, that is why we do these things, and we remember it when it is all said and done.
Big thanks to Brian Brown from the Harley Davidson store in SLC, we couldn't have pulled this off without his support. Also want to thank all the sponsors who showed up and participated (Nitro, K2, Salomon, Vans, Burton, and Ride)
Thanks for coming and supporting the premier. We hope to see you again, maybe tomorrow, September 1st, at the Optimistic and Cold World Premier at the UofU. Call Milosport for more details.

Picture This in now....

Mack Dawg's newest videos are in stock and ready to sell (online and in the store). Click here if you are interested in checking it out or buying it. The teaser is avialable on our site.

Pro Sale Saturday

This Saturday, September 1st, we have our annual pro sale. Come meet some of our pro team and buy their used gear that they are done with. The pro sale starts at 10 AM on Saturday. Jeremy Jones, JP Walker, Seth Huot, Jon Kooley, MFM, and others will be on hand to sell you what they got....

Winter???

If you can believe it, snowboarding is around the corner, don't mind the 100+ weather we continue to have. If you stop by the shop we have the swamp coolers kicking and you will find it may be cold enough to try on a new jacket or think about the season just around the corner.

We continue to get product every day from all our favorite brands. Flux came in this week, so did more Bonfire and Salomon gear. Yesterday we did receive a bunch of Foursquare outerwear, that stuff is looking on point for sure.

I am sure we have a larger variety of 2008 gear than anyone on the block. You should stop in and check it out.

We still have a ton of new shoes coming in and and lots of good streetwear too. Just because winter is coming doesn't mean we quit selling all the normal gear you need to look good when you aren't shredding.

Trevor and Jeff @ Mt. Hood w/ Oakley

So last week Trevor and I along with Todd and Alec from the Orem Milosport and several other shop employees from other shops around the country, got an invitation from Oakley Eyewear to fly up to Mt. Hood for 3 days of shredding.
It was the final session of the season for High Cascade Snowboard Camp witch was Bjorn and Erik Lienes's signature session. So we new we were going to see some sick riding from those two.
The first day was kind of a tough one for all us to get acclimated to riding again but at the end of the day we got a special treat Erik Leines was cooking Habenera Broughts right in front of our condo were he had his camping trailer set up. We went and skated alittle on the HCSC wooden bowls and street course and hit the sack early so we were ready to shred.

By the second day are legs were ready to rip it up mainly sessioning the 1,500 vertical feet of runs still open on Timberline's Palmer snow field and also the jibs, jumps and especially the halfpipe of HCSC. Trevor even started to figure out how to catch air in the pipe.

The third day was much the same as the second with a special bonus, we got to see some amazing riding from legends Scott E. Whitlake and Bobby Meeks and also crazy tech riding from up and comer and HCSC coach Scott Stevens.

Well that was a brief sum up of our trip. We had fun, got to shred with some new friends and old ones and in August to top it off. We like give a special thanks to Oakley, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, Erik & Bjorn Leines (Celtek Gloves) and of course Milosport for working out the schedule so we could go.

Monsoon Hit South Jordan Milosport

Today at sojo milo we got rained out, it was raining so hard that none of the normal shop kids that come here everyday, could come in(very unusual).Today was not like the other day when the RVCA team (check out the RVCA website blog) came in to do a signing and demo at sojo skatepark. The skaters that were here were Leo Romero, Raymond Moliner, David Reyes and Nestor Judkins, they all killed it especially Leo!
.....Anyways back to today, by the power of the gods the rain stopped and the bright and shiny sun came out to shine its humble rays of sunshine upon us. Not to give up hope of the shop rats little Sam came in to hang out and grace us with his presence.

The Bosses Are Gone!

Yup Josh and Cal have left to parts unknown for the next week and a half or so. I guess Josh is exploring somewhere in china for lost treasures. Cal took his family to an exotic island in the south pacific, well Hawaii anyways. I guess somewhat exotic, Cal thinks that he is going surfing. I think that he is to fat and outta shape to even think about it!

What we got going on right now at Milosport is just got in a bunch of the limited edition Vans Syndicate shoes including the classic RAD shoe in several colors have showed up. Get them quick because they are going fast. Also the ES Scale has just come, this is truly the lightest non vulk skate shoe out there for sure.

Anyways thats whats up come in and check it all out and see what mischief we get in well they are gone.
