So the Mtn. Dew Tour was here in SLC and a friend named Brian decided to put on a Pro Bowl Competition at the South Jordan Skate Park. There were tons of kids, lots of food (Garden Burgers, Vitamin Water, and Colosimo's for everyone), and many pros and bros shredding the pools. Check this little video out and stay tuned for more...

Absinthe and FODT Premier

So last night, September 1st, we had the Absinthe films and FODT premier. Optimistic played first and the crowd was stoked. After the Absinthe film played, it was Technine's turn. Cold World got the crowd excited to go get their shred on. Overall it was an amazing premier. Did I mention it was the world premier of both these films. The setting was amazing, outdoors at the University of Utah, by the time it was dark (around 9PM) there were over 1500 kids sitting on the grass engrossed by the films. I also forgot to mention that MFM was the mc for the shows and kids were freaking out on his part in Optimistic. I shot a few photos for you to check out...
Mark Edlund, aka Deadlung, strolling up to the scene.

Kids showing up early and checking out the goods.

Cal hates being in these things. That is why he is in the blog, because it bothers him. Read Snowboarder mag, it is good.

The screen was huge. Bigger than your typical movie theater screen.

Kids showed up early, this was about an hour and a half before it began.

Cole keeping the crew under control.

FODT kids getting stoked to watch the snowboard flicks, and showing off their new shirts...

Kids getting autographs.

Lukas signing up his latest cover from Snowboarder Mag.

Justin Bennee giving the premier 2 thumbs up. Until next time... Saturday, September 8th at Westminster College, we will be premiering First Kiss, Work/Play, and Child Support. Call the store for more details.

Milosport Pro Sale 07

I can't remember when we started the Pro Sale tradition, but it just keeps getting bigger every year. This year we had our first Urban campers, we had people show up around Midnight the night before and sleep in line to be first to get the goods from our top pros.
Everyone has their way to get hyped up for things. Bennee was getting ready for a very long day with the pro sale and the Absinthe premier that night. Breakfast of champions always starts with donuts, just ask Homer.
Jeremy is usually the biggest draw at the pro sale, same think we should just have a jer sale, then the pro sale on another day. This year was no different, see photos if you don't believe me.
Product for days. Jeremy could definitely open up a small store.

I forgot to mention at the beginning that we have kids coming from everywhere. This kid and a few friends have been coming every year since 2003. Here he is showing off his 2004 signed DVS shoe from Jeremy Jones. Did I mention they drove like 13 hours to come to the sale, then turned around and drove back? They are crazy. This year was Marco's 1st pro sale, he wasn't quite as organized as the other pros. Here is his pile of gear that he must have emptied out from his closets.... Next year maybe he will show up and not just send his friend to sell his gear.
Selling it son. JP Walker isn't afraid to talk tech with the kids and explain to him why he likes what he rides. It is always fun to have JP at events, kids trip out on him, I don't know if he can go anywhere without being recognized.
Seth Huot was one of the other pros who is a regular at the pro sale. He is prepared and ready to sell in this photo. 2 hours later the racks and table would be empty and he had a wad of cash bigger than George's wallet in Seinfeld.
Big thanks to the pros who came and participated (Jeremy Jones, JP Walker, Justin Bennee, Jordan Mendenhall, and Mark Edlund).
