South Jordan Skate Contest 5/26/07

The competition went down on Saturday, and was tons of fun. With 100+ competitors participating and many more just watching and cheering, everyone had a great time. Here are a few photos we snapped off during the competition. We will have the results up shortly.....

The temperatures here in Salt Lake City are rising fast and skating between 2 and 4 in afternoon is a guaranteed sweat session. Summer trips have already started with Josh Roberts "Ming the Merciless," relaxing somewhere in Mexico and drinking dirty water. Cal "Your Pal" Egbert is also out of town on a marathon road trip with Poppa Egbert through Canada and into the Last Frontier (Alaska). Best of luck and safe travels to them both. Meanwhile back here at the shop... The burglar alarms went off a couple times over the weekend and after laying down some strategic traps, the culprits were caught and prosecuted... Two mice! In related news, Milosport employee, Drew Carney is now the official Milo Mouse Hunter with assistance from Jeff and Travis. New summer shoes just came in and we've also got a bunch of sandals to chill in. Check out Mark Appleyard's new pro model from Globe called the Vagrant, and Jim Grecco's Supra shoe called the Suprano.

Milo Skate Series

We have the first milo contest coming up May 26th at the South Jordan Skate Park. The contest will begin @ 10AM. As always, the contest is free, and we will have 3 divisions (beginner, intermediate and advance). If you have any questions, please call Milosport Sojo @ 801.446.1340.

We want to congratulate the Lizard King for becoming a home owner in Salt Lake City. I guess this means he will be lurking around Utah more often.
