Tons of snow hit Salt Lake City and the Surrounding mountains!!! Snowbird is Opening November 7th!!

Thats right this was the view from the Milosport parking lot today after it finally quit snowing. From what we hear the rail gardens were going off as well as many people hiking the resorts preseason!! There were several feet of snow up in the higher elavations and rumor has it that Snowbird is going to open this coming Friday November 7th!! The season is here so everyone get stoked!!

This Wednesday October 22nd Is the Salt Lake premier of Burton's Movie "It's Always Snowing Somewhere".

This showing is a free limited seats available viewing.

Milosport Pro Sale & "Ready" World Premier

On August 30th Milosport hosted it's annual Pro Sale, and this year was no different. People started arriving and waiting for the sale Friday night at 9:45 PM, waiting to see what deals they could score from some of the Milosport snowboard team. This year we had a pretty good crowd, Jeremy Jones, Seth Huot, Jon Kooley, Jordan Mendenhall, MFM, Aaron Biittner, Deadlung, and a few other friends were there to get rid of the gear they didn't need any more and make a little cash at the same time. That same night, Justin Hostynek and the Absinthe Films crew came into town to premier their new film "Ready". The Tower Theatre was filled and people were sitting in the isles as the film began. Lots of pow riding, big kickers, and gnarly rail/urban shots were displayed on the big screen and the kids were hyped. Milo employee Cale Zima had quite the fan club as he had his first debut on the big screens. This kid is on his way up...Overall the kids were stoked, they got to meet some of their favorite pros and get some good gear cheap at the sale and had an amazing time watching Ready. Baker / Deathwish Demo!! Off the Hook!!

The Deathwish and Baker team came through Salt Lake City on their tour last Wednesday. Andrew Reynolds, Lizard, Jeff Lenoce, Jim Greco, Spanky and the rest of the team killed the South Jordan Skatepark. The demo had a pretty good turnout and all the kids were stoked to see legendary pro skaters like Andrew Reynolds and Jim Greco. Milosport rider and local homie Lizard destroyed the park with is huge kickflips and signature ollie north variations. Check the sequences. Thanks to everyone at Baker and Deathwish, Kr3w homies, Scotty Goodale, South Jordan City and everybody who showed up.
